It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!

It's the most wonderful time of the year! I love Christmas, but j'adore Halloween. This morning I took Mason to the pumpkin patch and what a great time we had. Papa met us there and I think he had a good time too. I started Mason out in regular clothes, but I brought the monkey costume just in case he was in an extra good mood and he was! He was so excited to see all those pumpkins. I've only posted two pictures. For the full monty you can visit my gallery.
Happy Halloween!

Mason the Artist

Mason has been learning about community helpers at school. He created this masterpiece which was uploaded to this website http://www.artsonia.com/museum/art.asp?id=6375333 You can order items with his artwork on it and it raises funds for his school. Very cool! I mean very HOT!

Sunday, October 11 2009

We're in Plano at the Johnston's house. Stephen and I were in Daisy, OK on Friday and Saturday doing some off-roading while Mason spent some quality time with Uncle Austin, Grandma, and Grandpa. Grandma was somewhat out of commission so it was up to Austin and Grandpa to take care of the man. When we got back he was still in one piece and happy. Thanks for the night off!
Here are a couple of pictures from our adventure. It was rainy and cold in OK, but we had a great time.
For Stephen this was a total jeep trip. For me it was more of a photography expedition. I got some good shots and got to mess around with them in iphoto.

Why Didn't I Think of This Before

This is Mason's blog where everyone can check in on him and see what he's up to on a day to day basis. Plus this is the lazy way to make sure I'm documenting all his milestones. Who has time to write in a book these days?
Here's an update. Mason is now 10 and 1/2 months old. He is crawling, pulling up and cruising like crazy, and today he stood on his own for a few seconds. Walking isn't too far away. He is still on the Gentlease formula. I'm convinced he's lactose intolerant for reasons that I'll lay out for you if you're interested. He loves big people food and will only eat half of a meal if someone is feeding him.
Stay tuned and I'll keep everyone updated on our little monkey!
